Client-Side Data Architecture & Privacy Notice
TechSunset Project operates as a modern frontend-first web application. All project portfolios, task lists, team directories, milestone progress logs, and timesheet records generated or modified within this workspace are stored securely in your web browser via HTML5 localStorage. No proprietary project plans, confidential tasks, or employee capacities are transmitted to unauthorized remote third parties.
1. Information Stored Locally
Data entered into TechSunset Project—including project names, task descriptions, subtasks, user initials, comments, and hourly time logs—is cached in client-side persistent storage. You have direct control over this data at all times.
Navigating to Settings → Reset Workspace Data will immediately restore the application baseline state and clear custom locally stored modifications.
2. Indian DPDPA & Production Data Protection
In commercial enterprise deployments of TechSunset Project, all data processing complies with applicable privacy laws including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), 2023. Principles include:
- Zero monetization or selling of user project workflows or customer lists.
- Role-based access boundaries ensuring external clients view only designated approval portals.
- TLS 1.3 transport security for all domain communications.
- Strict tenant isolation preventing cross-organization visibility.
3. Data Export & Ownership
You maintain 100% intellectual property ownership of your project plans and tasks. TechSunset Project provides one-click client-side CSV export options across Projects, Tasks, Team Members, and Time Logs.
